Fencing
To many people, fencing means Zorro, the Three Musketeers, and Errol Flynn—all flashing swords and seemingly effortless footwork. Fencers, of course, know better […] The early maneuvers you’ll learn may not seem athletic, but take a minute to watch more advanced fencers and you’ll see that the sport is very active, with plenty of quick forward and backward motion, ducking, and leaping attacks. As a beginner, executing the slow steps over and over will leave your legs quivering and weapon arm feeling weak.
