Ages 14 and up By invitation only
APEX is a rigorous dry land and on-ice hockey training program specifically designed for players committed to excelling at varsity and college level play.
Training for two hours a day, 4-5 days per week, APEX is an intensive program for highly skilled athletes that includes training sessions on the hockey treadmill, plyometric training, strength training and skills development.
Additionally, from July 12 through August 20, APEX training includes two 90-minute on-ice practice sessions each week.

Staff
Adam Tichauer is a graduate of Brown University and a former professional athlete. While at Brown, Adam played four years for the Brown University Bears, NCAA Division I team where he was named to the ECAC all academic team for three consecutive years.
Scott Krahn was a four-year letterman at Cornell University. Prior to attending Cornell, Scott was the Assistant Captain for the Vernon Vipers of the British Columbia Junior Hockey League and helped lead them to the 1999 Canadian National Championship.
Dan O'Brien played 3 years Junior A hockey in Eastern Canada and went on to play minor league hockey in North America and Europe from 1991 to 1996. In 1996, he began coaching the New Jersey Rockets, eventually taking 5 teams to the USA AAA Nationals and winning the Pee Wee national championship. Dan specializes in power skating and stickhandling and has trained several NHL draft picks, including New York Rangers 1st round pick Bob Sanguinetti and Washington Capitals 1st round pick Jon Carlson. Dan has coached at Sky Rink for 3 years and in 2007 was named Chelsea Piers Coach of the Year.
