Congratulations to Sky Rink's Junior Prep skating team for its second place finish at the annual Yonkers Figure Skating Club ISI Competition! The competition was held at the E.J. Murray Memorial Skating Rink in Yonkers, New York on November 19, 2011.  This is the third year in a row that figure skaters from Sky Rink's thriving Junior Prep program have won the second place team trophy. This year, the second place award was out of five figure skating clubs in the tri-state area.

Staff professionals who participated were Denise Beaumont, Ali Blank, Helen Bowlin, Ken Benson, Line Haddad, Marni Halasa, Bridie Myles and Maria O'Connor.  Director of Figure Skating Kenny Moir and Sky Rink ISI Competition Director Darlene Parent both assisted in judging the competition, which has been around for 25 years. Many Yonkers skaters will also participate in the Chelsea Piers ISI Competition that will be held the first weekend in June 2012.
