to go, Zak!
Just in time for the season to start up, we've launched a brand new Flag Football class at the Field House for kids ages 7-10. Whether your child is a Giants fan or a Jets fan, Flag Football will be
the perfect outlet for his/her football passion.
This 10-week program provides an introduction
to the game of football, skill development and game play.
The 60-minute classes are take place once per week on Tuesdays at 4:45pm. Classes run September 14 through November 16.
To register, or for more information, please call 212.336.6520 or visit Youth Sports Classes.
The Field House is proud to announce the launch of CP Building Blocks, an enrichment program for children with developmental needs from age 18 months to 5 years. Classes target language development, cognition, motor development and socialization. Classes are one hour long with 40 minutes devoted to a a new language concept and practicing its use through gross and fine motor activities, story time, music, cooking and more. The last 20 minutes, children participate in a sports class - soccer, baseball, gymnastics - with the Special Education teacher that has already built a relationship with the child. Most early intervention programs enroll kids around age 3, but CP Building Blocks allows children to start at 18 months, giving parents tools, a community and a social outlet.
There will be an Open House and Information Session on Wednesday, September 8 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm at the Field House. See the facility, learn about the program and meet the teachers. Please RSVP to me at marcom@chelseapiers.com by September 7.
