Most Fun Workout Around: Break Beat Gymnastics

Mollie Marcoux, Field House General Manager

Field House , Gymnastics No Comments »

In this week's issue of New York Magazine, writer Jhoanna Robledo details her experiences with fun and unusual fitness classes throughout the city. Included in her writeup is Break Beat Gymnastics at the Field House! Jhoanna writes:

"Talk about shocking your body out of complacency: Break Beat Gymnastics turned this uptight runner into a break-dancing fool, attempting sweeps (hands on floor, swooping the legs around), CC Rocks (twisting on the floor, one leg extended), and windmills (let your imagination run wild)."

Add some fun to your workout regime this year with Break Beat Gymnastics on Thursdays at 1:30pm. You may drop-in to class and do not need to register in advance. Purchase a single class, 10-class card or 20-class card at the Field House Front Desk.
