Congratulations to the members of the Elite Junior Golf program
that were recognized among the top junior golfers in the metro area! Matthew Yamin,
Rebecca Chan, Chris Chan and Cara Brinster all received awards at the 2011
Junior Golf Awards Ceremony of the Met PGA for finishing in the top 3 of a major
Met PGA tournament.
Matthew Yamin, 8, won 2 tournaments for the boys 7-11 age group. Rebecca
Chan, 11, won 4 tournaments for the girls 7-11 age group. Chris Chan, 11, placed
third in 2 tournaments for the boys 7-11 age group. Cara Brinster, 15, won 1
tournament for the girls 15-18 age group.

Congratulations to Golf Club pro Jeffrey Anderson on a great finish at the Met Open Qualifier! Jeffrey tied for 12th place in a field of 150 players on Monday, July 25 at the Cold Spring Country Club in Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y. The Met Open will be played in late August. Great job!
