Chelsea Piers, Manhattan's premier destination for youth sports, is home to 16 specialty sports camps for children and teens ages 3 to 17  years. Since 1996, campers have enjoyed world-class facilities, expert instruction and the most exciting sports curriculum available. Programs include Golf, Performance Golf, Gymnastics, Junior Gymnastics, Sports Academy (multi-sport camp), Elite Soccer, Ice Skating, Junior Ice Skating, Ice Hockey, Junior Ice Hockey, Acceleration Hockey, Preschool Ice Skating, Preschool Gymnastics, Bowling, Urban Adventure for teens (including Kayaking/Sailing, Rock Climbing, Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball and Ice Skating) and Basketball. Daily lunch is provided for all campers. The staff is passionate about providing a first-class experience.  Camp runs June 16 through August 29, 2014. For maximum flexibility, campers can sign up for one week or up to 11 weeks.  Transportation and an After-Care Program are available. Early Bird Pricing is in effect now through May 23. Boys Gymnastics Team Cleans Up at State Championship Meet

Congratulations to the Chelsea Piers Boys Gymnastics team on their successful weekend at the State Championships! The meet was held March 15 – 17 in Binghamton, NY, with several members of the Chelsea Piers team placing in the top 5 of their events:

  • The Level 6 and Level 9 teams both placed 3rd
  • Ivan Knopflemacher, Level 5, placed 1st on Parallel Bars and 2nd on High Bar and Rings
  • Noah DeGuchteneere, Level 6, placed 2nd on Vault
  • Teraab Feaster, Level 7, placed 1st on Vault
  • Gideon Small, Level 7, placed 2nd on Parallel Bars

Congratulations to the Chelsea Piers Level 7 Boys Gymnastics Team for winning 1st place at the Regional Championships at West Point on April 14 and 15!

Special congratulations to:

  • Theodore Karakitsos, who took home 1st place in the All-Around, Rings and Parallel Bars.
  • Luca Ricciardi, who ranked 2nd place on the Vault and 3rd place in the All-Around
  • Matyas Fenyves, who took home 3rd place on the Pommel Horse

Next week, the Level 5 and 6 boys will be competing in their Regional Championships. Good luck Level 5 and 6 boys and congratulations Level 7 boys!
