Lauren Glassberg, ABC Eyewitness News Correspondent, recently joined us for a Level 1 Tri Training workout at the Sports Center. Lauren learned to adjust her bike pedal position and cadence, worked on her running technique and even learned some pointers on how to get on the podium at a race. Sports Center members Joe Hornstein and Stacie Kennedy are also featured in the segment. Click here to check out Level 1 on ABC!

Players are still out on the course, however, the weekend is taking shape. Tiger continues to play well; he's making those 15-foot putts for par or birdie that he usually makes when he wins. I don't have a prediction, but he's playing much better than I had anticipated. The leaders are a couple of Englishmen: Lee Westwood followed by 2 strokes by Ian Poulter. Tiger is in 3rd place along with K.J.Choi, who is always playing very well. The seniors, Couples and Watson, are still up there but have fallen a bit off the pace. This is shaping up to be a great weekend. Enjoy!

The course was set up rather easy, but that didn’t prevent a tough day in Augusta. We have a great leaderboard, including something for everyone: 2 champions tour players, 2 Asian golfers, Europeans, South Africas, Phil and Tiger (who played wonderfully under so much pressure). Fred Couples, Day 1 leader, is a fan favorite and Tom Watson, one back, showed for a day at least the hands of time can be turned back. Watson almost won the British Open last year at age 60!

Keep this in mind: you can’t win a tournament on the first day, but you sure can lose it! Jim Furyk and Heinrik Stenson, both solid players, shot 80. Let’s see what happens today…
