Nickelodeon’s ParentsConnect third annual Parents’ Picks Awards!
The Parents' Picks Awards is a nationwide online poll that allows parents to

Congratulations are in order for
all the young skaters who won the "No Test" team trophy at the Middle
Atlantic Championships, held September 10, 11 and 12. Although most competitors are from suburban rinks
located throughout the middle atlantic region, our Junior Prep program produced
enough medals to bring the trophy home to Sky Rink. Our terrific team of coaches
had a lot to do with this accomplishment, so congratulations to them
too!

The Chelsea Piers Scholarship Fund and the Dustin Keller Foundation, would like to thank all who attended The 1st Annual
Dustin Keller Believe & Achieve Charity Golf Gala on September 14th at
Chelsea Piers. Participants enjoyed simulator play, a longest drive contest, open hitting, free tips from Chelsea Piers Teaching Pros,
open bar and a dinner buffet, all while mixing and mingling with the Jets!
Players in attendance included Dustin Keller, Mark Sanchez, Braylon
Edwards, Vernon Gholston, Jerricho Cotchery, Bart Scott, Shonn Greene, Tony Richardson and
more! Thanks for contributing to a great cause!

the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA)!
The Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) is transforming
youth sports so sports can transform youth. Through partnership with more than
1,100 youth sports organizations, leagues, schools and cities nationwide, PCA
has conducted 6,000-plus workshops for youth sports coaches, parents,
organizational leaders and athletes.

As a member organization, Chelsea Piers will host
three training seminars per year for coaches. The first session, Initial
Positive Coaching I Training, was held in the Field House on September 8th, 2010
and focused on the importance of positive coaching. We’re looking forward to our
next sessions and are excited to work with such an influential organization.
