Best of 10 Swings
Mets or Yankees? Show off your Major League skills in our state-of-the-art batting cages, which offer fast, medium, and slow pitches. Even face off against our Pro-batter and test your timing against his pitch. Each team member recieves points for every hit that would be considered a fair ball. (This activity is only avaiable at the Field House.)

Dodgeball
It's the game we used to play in gym class - dip, duck, catch and DODGE! Teams face off one against the other and the team with at least one person left in the game at the end wins. For larger groups, Dodgeball tournaments are also available.

Broomball
This inventive sport is a combination of soccer and floor hockey. Team members use their feet and a broom to score on the other team's goal. Players must maintain their offensive or defensive positions throughout the game.

Lou’s Two-Pitch Hit
Each player receives two pitches from the pitching machine (three pitches maximum with one foul ball). There are four innings in the game and during each inning every team member will have a chance to bat at the plate. The point system is based on the landing location of the batter's hit.

Moonball
Before the game starts, all teams have a five-minute time period to work together and strategize how to score points with the Moonball - a giant five-foot high beach ball. Each team member must hit the Moonball up in the air before any points are scored. Once each team member has had contact with the Moonball, the scoring begins and each consecutive hit is counted as one point. The ball cannot touch the ground in between hits.

Table Tennis
Remember that sport you used to play in your basement growing up (or perhaps you remember that table from your less health-concious days in college)? After brief instruction about the rules of the game and the scoring procedure, participants play against each other on three tables set up on a basketball court. Table tennis is a workout that you don’t always expect. It is a new addition to the Olympics and the second highest participation sport in the world!

Pass, Catch, and End Zone Dance
Each team will select a player to be the quarterback who passes the football to the teammate "receivers". Each QB has 60 seconds to pass the ball into four different zones for varying amounts of points. It will take the entire team's effort to return the football (by way of a lateral pass via the "receivers") back to the QB. The object of this game for the whole team to work together, throw long and score!

Phil Up McCann!
The goal for this activity is to fill up an empty bucket with sand (if played in the Sports Center) or other objects (if played at the Field House) before the competing team does. The competition is a fun filled relay as participants compete to scoop up sand or objects from the starting point and dump the objects into the bucket located about 25 feet away. The team members must line themselves up to establish an order. Each team will receive one large cup to scoop up the sand or objects and the winning team is the one that fills the bucket up to the designated end line first.

SILLY VARIATION - Remember those silly and fun relays at camp? Before a player can leave the scooping area with the full cup, they must put on a costume which consists of pants, jacket, hat and sunglasses.

Sling Shot Baseball
Using a slingshot balloon launcher, teams of 3 members each must launch small dodge balls across the courts to the catching team. The catching team needs to catch each ball in a special parachute, on the fly, without dropping the ball. Once the ball is caught - the catching team needs to roll the ball into the #1 opening for the first 'out'. Once the team gets 3 'outs' in the #1 opening, they can move on to the #2 opening. Teams will repeat the process until they get 3 outs in the 9th opening (inning). This action packed game takes precision and team work to complete all 9 outs.

Puzzle Sharing
Puzzle Sharing is a quiet activity that can be played in any location. The focus is on silent communication, sharing and cooperation. We start with five disassembled puzzles and divide the pieces into four piles of equal size. The group will be organized into four teams and each team will go to a different area of the room with one of the puzzle piles. Teams can trade with other teams and more challenges take place during this activity. The objective of the game is for each group to complete one puzzle. The level of competitiveness can be adjusted for each group.

Speed Stacks™ - Competition Cups
It's a track meet for your hands at warp speed! Sport stacking is an exciting new sport where you "up stack" and "down stack" twelve (12) specially designed cups in predetermined sequences as fast as you can. Already used by thousands of physical education teachers and coaches, sport stacking reaches out to all ages and levels of physical ability. Sport stacking encourages everyone to succeed while challenging the most athletic players. Each team member gets 3 attempts. We will record their best score and add up the total team times.

Tower Power
Tower Power is similar to the popular game Jenga™, but super-sized! We start with 54 oversized wooden blocks stacked in a tower formation. Each level consists of 3 blocks placed adjacent to each other, and the next level of three is placed perpendicular to the previous level. The group is organized into teams and each member of each team takes a turn removing one block from the tower and placing it on top of the tower. Each member of all teams must participate and there are specific rules and challenges along the way. The games ends when the tower falls in any significant way – in other words, when any piece falls from the tower, other than the piece being moved to the top of the tower.

Hybrid Games

Mat Stacking Challenge
A new team oriented challenge for active groups! Each team will choose a representative to climb the rock wall, in the Sports Center, utilizing the large soft mats stacked up high. The goal is to grab a flag placed on the wall approximately 20 feet above the ground. Safety is a first, so the team member making the “grab” will be harnessed and belayed by trained rock climbing staff. This challenge can be tailored according to group dynamics.

Corporate Charades and Office Pictionary
Traditional games we all know and love that are custom tailored to your specific company or department. The Team Building Program Manager will work with you prior to the event to determine 10 words that pertain specifically to your group. The group will be organized into teams and then stationed in different areas or rooms. The first person from each team comes to the facilitator for the first word challenge. The first person then returns to the team and acts or draws it out until their team guesses the word. The next person then goes to the facilitator for the next word and so on. The first team to guess all the words wins!
