We strongly suggest making a reservation for all corporate outings to guarantee that your group will be accommodated on the day you visit Chelsea Piers. Booking your event ahead of time will guarantee that your preferred activities are available when you arrive, and your guests will not have to wait in any lines with the general public.

Is pricing available on your website?

Pricing is determined by the specific activities and event locations reserved as well as the timeframe (season, time of day) of the event. Once we have your event details (guest count, event date, event format, activity preference), we are happy to create a proposal that is tailored to your event specifications.

Is there an admission fee to Chelsea Piers?

No, there is not an admission fee to Chelsea Piers. Our activities are priced a la carte, so you only pay for what you are going to use. Please contact the Special Events Department for pricing information that is tailored to the interests of your group.

Can I change my activities on the day of the event?

Due to scheduled programming and other corporate/private outings that may be taking place simultaneously, it is not possible to change your activities on the day of the event. Pending availability, it may be possible to add activities on the day of your event.

I want to book a bowling-only event, with no other activities. Who should I call?

The bowling alley at Chelsea Piers is part of the national chain, AMF. 300 New York operates as a separate business from Chelsea Piers’ other sports venues. If you are interested in booking bowling only, please call AMF at 212.835.2695 and their event team can provide you with information about availability, as well as catering/beverage packages at 300 New York.

How far in advance do I have to book my event?

Events can be booked up to one (1) year in advance. We suggest that if you are planning a summer event (to take place from May to September), that you book two (2) to six (6) months in advance.

What is the payment requirement once an event is contracted?

Chelsea Piers requires a 50% non-refundable reservation fee in order to officially reserve your activities, locations, and services. Five (5) business days prior to your event date, we require the remaining balance. All payments are required prior to your event at Chelsea Piers. You may pay for your event with either a credit card, check or wire transfer.

How do Pier Sixty and the Lighthouse fit into Chelsea Piers?

Pier Sixty and the Lighthouse are private waterfront event spaces, located within the Chelsea Piers complex. Both spaces are a partnership between Chelsea Piers and Abigail Kirsch Fine Catering, and they have a seasoned event team that is separate from the event staff for the sports venues at Chelsea Piers. Does Chelsea Piers offer discounted parking for events?

Chelsea Piers does not offer discounted parking for events. However, we do have several parking lots that all guests are welcome to utilize. Please note that all parking is cash-only, and we have quite a few ATMs throughout Chelsea Piers. For parking rates, please visit the parking section of our website.

You can find almost every other sport at Chelsea Piers, but unfortunately we do not have tennis courts.

Where do chartered buses drop off and pick up guests for a special event at Chelsea Piers?

Chartered buses may drop off at the main Pier 62 entrance or on the East Roadway (which runs along Chelsea Piers, parallel to the West Side Highway) at Pier 61, Pier 60 or Pier 59. The buses may then pick guests up at Pier 62 after the event. Please note that buses are not able to park at Chelsea Piers during your event - please make sure the bus company is aware of this, and they will make alternate arrangements.
