PLAN
YOUR OLYMPIC COVERAGE NOW
AT SKY RINK AT CHELSEA PIERS
Plan
Ahead! The XXVIII Olympic Winter Games are scheduled
for February 7-22, 1998 in Nagano, Japan. If you're
thinking about feature stories to accompany your reporting,
consider Sky Rink at Chelsea Piers as both a location
and a source of interesting Olympics-related stories.
Sky
Rink is New York's only year-round, twin-rink indoor
ice skating arena, operating 24 hours a day, seven days
a week. It welcomes skaters of all ages and abilities
for general skating sessions, figure skating, hockey
training and league play. The Sky Rink Skating School
offers private instruction and group classes for skaters
of all ages, taught by a professional coaching staff
that includes former national and international champions
and Olympic competitors. The extensive hockey program
for youth and adult players includes prep classes, clinics
and league play. Ice Theatre of New York, the nation's
premier not-for-profit ice dancing ensemble, is in residence
at Chelsea Piers, and Sky Rink is the home ice of the
New York University hockey team. Why not bring your
figure skating, hockey (or even curling) story to Sky
Rink at Chelsea Piers? Or, give us a call and we'll
help you put together an exciting feature story.
