On Thursday, June 17, 1999 from 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM, over eighty Chelsea Piers Camp Counselors will be testing themselves at a team-building camp held at the Field House at Chelsea Piers.

The counselors, experts in sports ranging from aggressive skating to rock climbing to ice hockey, will be put through their paces in preparation for the start of Chelsea Piers Summer Sports Camp which begins on Monday, June 21st. Chelsea Piers expects over 2,000 New York kids to enjoy the nine different sports camps offered this summer.

Eighty young athletic counselors in uniform will be available for photos and interviews immediately before or after the camp. Media is encouraged to observe and photograph some of the action.
