Arts Tournament to be Held
Sunday, August 8 at the Field House at Chelsea Piers
On
Sunday, August 8, 1999, beginning at Noon, The Hudson
Judo Yudanshakai, Inc. (the major organizational body
for NYC area judo) will be holding The 1999 Hudson
Cup Judo Challenge at the Field House at Chelsea
Piers. The event is a judo tournament with teams from
New York and New Jersey competing for the Hudson Cup
Trophy. This year's competitors include former U.S.
and World Olympians as well as former U.S. national
champions. A team tournament is an uncommon format,
and is very enjoyable for both spectators and competitors.
This is the third year that the tournament has been
held. Admission is $10 at the door; children under 5
