Spa Adds Services and Introduces New Product Line

(New York, NY – April 14, 2003) – The Spa at Cheslea Piers, which opened in 1996, has expanded in response to increased demand from its customers. In addition to the physical expansion, the Spa is also adding new services and introducing a new product line for retail sale.

The Spa expansion includes a new reception area, the creation of a relaxation lounge for customers to use between treatments, a new massage room, and manicure and pedicure stations complete with Hudson River views. The Spa is located at the Sports Center at Chelsea Piers, NY’s most comprehensive health club. Customers purchasing Spa treatments of $75 or more are welcome to utilize the Sports Center before or after their appointment. With a pool, two sundecks overlooking the Hudson River, a member lounge, sauna, whirlpool, steam room, café, sushi bar, and all of the traditional health club fitness offerings, a day trip to the Spa at Chelsea Piers is perhaps the most unique day spa experience in New York City.

With the expansion, the Spa is also adding two new treatments, an eye treatment and a facial. The new treatments use the new line of skincare products from Simple Solutions. The new copper-based product line utilizes the latest anti-aging technology aimed at reducing fine lines and wrinkles, repairing skin’s elasticity, and restoring moisture by stimulating the skin to increase production of collagen. Copper based skincare products, like Simple Solutions, are the latest in skincare technology.
