The Golf Club at Chelsea Piers Joins First Tee Program

Golf Club at Chelsea Piers becomes an Affiliate of
The First Tee of Metropolitan New York.

(New York, NY – June 6, 2003) – The Golf Club at Chelsea Piers, America's most technologically-advanced driving range and teaching center, announced today that it has signed on with The First Tee of Metropolitan New York (www.mosholugolf.com). The Golf Club at Chelsea Piers is the first metropolitan area golf club to sign on as an “Affiliate” of The First Tee of Metropolitan New York.

The First Tee programming is set to start at the Golf Club in June with a USA Network sponsored five-week clinic series. The kids, ages 12- 17, will come from the GRADS Foundation, Inc., a charitable organization that encourages and prepares students to complete their high school education and pursue post-secondary education in New York (www.gradsfoundation.org). More than 30 kids will pass thru the first clinic.

We have created a lot of programming geared directly to kids in the past year and this will be a great compliment to our existing programming.”
