The Golf Club is delighted to announce that Chelsea Piers has teamed up with Morrell & Company to offer Chelsea Piers members and customers a wide range of exciting wine programs. Beginning immediately, Chelsea Piers members and customers will have access to wine tastings, special events, wine classes, discounts on wine and related merchandise at Morrell, and many more features covering nearly every facet of wine and the good life. Here are just a few of the programs Morrell has created for Chelsea Piers:

The Introductory Wine Classes Series

Wine enthusiasts are invited to sign up for the Introductory Wine Classes Series at the Golf Club at Chelsea Piers. Morrell's introductory wine classes cater to those with an appreciation for, but limited knowledge of, the intricacies of wine and wine production. Interactive classes explore fascinating trends in winemaking, the essentials of wine and food pairing, and tasting techniques. Each series consists of four, 1-1/2 hour classes.

Chelsea Piers VIP Wine Program

As a member of the Chelsea Piers VIP Wine Program, enjoy wines specially selected by senior members of the staff of the Morrell Wine Institute and Peter and Roberta Morrell, together with tasting notes, food pairings and background information for each wine offered. Members also receive advance notice of those highly allocated hard-to-get wines that you read about but can never find.

Need help finding that special wine? Your personal wine consultant at Morrell will offer advice on purchases, party planning, wine and food pairing, and storage needs. Members savor delicious winemaker dinners at Morrells Restaurant on Broadway & 20th and relax on refreshing summer wine cruises. Members also benefit from customized wine classes and seminars, and priority reservations for classes open to the public.
