CHELSEA PIERS KICKS OFF
8th ANNUAL ”MUSIC AT THE PIERS”
FREE SUMMER CONCERT SERIES PART
OF
10TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
(New York, NY – June 3, 2005) – Beginning
Saturday, June 4th and Sunday, June 5th, Chelsea Piers will be
hosting its free outdoor summer concert series, Music at the Piers.
Every weekend through the end of September, local bands ranging
in style from jazz and blues to country and Latin will be performing
on the Main Plaza on Pier 62 at 23rd Street and the Hudson River
from noon to 4pm.
This year’s festivities are part of the year-long celebration
of Chelsea Piers’ Tenth Anniversary. Music at the Piers,
which is in its eighth year, is presented by Horizon Healthcare.
