GOLF CLUB COMPLETES RENOVATIONS OF LOCKER ROOMS AND LOUNGE AREA
NEW FOCUS ON MEMBERSHIP AMENITIES

(New York, NY— March 17, 2008) – The Chelsea Piers Golf Club recently completed renovations of its member locker rooms, client lounge area and one of its event rooms.

“The new member locker rooms provide our members with a relaxing environment and additional amenities in line with exclusive private clubs”, says General Manager, Greta Wagner. “The original rooms were gutted and redesigned with beautiful cherry wood lockers, stone from Italy and a comfortable palate of earth tones throughout the space.”

The relaxing lounge space was improved with the addition of large windows, connecting it to the main common area, and is filled with comfortable seating for clients to wait for their hitting stall and/or lessons. Clients can watch a golf tournament on the large screen television, enjoy a cup of Dunkin Doughnuts coffee or check their email on the complimentary computer kiosk sponsored by JetBlue.

The 1,500 square-foot event space on the ground floor was also redesigned to increase both size and functionality. A 200 square-foot kitchen was added to support the high demand of breakfast and lunch meetings as well as dinner parties held in the club daily. Top of the line audio-visual equipment was installed and with direct Tee-line access and amazing Hudson views, it is an ideal setting for a catered corporate event or private party.

According to Greta Wagner, “The club has always looked good; however, it's important to keep the facility fresh and new. Chelsea Piers is committed to making improvements and/or additions to our facilities and services every year to ensure the best experience for our clients. They deserve only the best of everything, so we'll never rest on our laurels.”
