SEVEN CHELSEA PIERS GYMNASTS PLACE
AT WORLD CUP GYMNASTICS INVITATIONAL
(New York, NY— December 15, 2009) – Seven members of the Chelsea Piers boys gymnastics team placed first place in their level and apparatus categories at the World Cup Gymnastics Invitational in Chappaqua, New York December 4th and 5th. Morits Linn, Kijana Thomas, Mack Hallett, Gideon Small, Theodore Karakitsos, Luca Ricciardi, and Brian Knott, all Placed 1st in their respective levels.

“It was a very competitive meet,” commented Hector Salazar, boys’ team head coach. “There were more than ten teams that came to compete. This was a great kick-off to the season.”
The next competition for the Chelsea Piers Boys Gymnastics team will be The “Gym Nest Local” meet in New York, January 9, 2010. Level 4 and 5 boys will be representing the Piers.
