Group Fitness Class Schedule

The Sports Center offers over 100 group fitness classes a week in its two, spacious and sunny fitness studios. Group fitness classes, ranging from yoga basics to masters swim team, are led by over 50 of Manhattan’s top fitness professionals.

In addition to the studios, group fitness classes are also held on the indoor track, the indoor sand volleyball court, in the swimming pool, boxing ring, spinning studio and on the indoor rock climbing wall. During the summer months, yoga and spinning classes are often scheduled on the sundecks. Members also enjoy cutting-edge specialty classes and master classes from guest instructors.

A Full Schedule of Group Fitness Classes

The Sports Center is proud to offer group fitness classes that cover a wide range of interests and ability levels. Fitness classes listed in the Class Schedule are designated as “beginner,” “intermediate,” or “advanced;” however, Sports Center instructors are also adept at suggesting modifications that allow members to participate at any level.

The focus is on both fun and fitness in Studios A and B. Members can express themselves in a variety of dance classes, enjoy the psychological and physical benefits of six different yoga classes, or gain flexibility and core strength through Pilates. For the more athletically inclined, the Sports Center offers Boot Camp, three different boxing classes, and hardcourt volleyball. Traditionalists will find a wide range of core, cardio and conditioning classes to choose from.
