Chelsea Piers has partnered with the MPIA and Icebreaker to launch the Meatpacking District Running Club! Based out of Icebreaker's Meatpacking store, coaches from the Sports Center and Icebreaker will take runners on 2 different routes - a short run and a long run - each Tuesday evening. Runs will last about an hour. All levels and abilities are welcome!

Icebreaker will provide a bag check & changing area at the store during the run. Complimentary nibbles and drinks are available after.

Runners will be asked to complete a wavier on their first run.


  • Group Running Class
    WARP SPEED is a drill-oriented track running class that includes sprinting, hurdles, relays, and stretching techniques. Improve running time, speed and endurance and prepare for regional and national open/master's competitions. WARP SPEED is held on Mondays and Wednesdays 7pm.
  • High Volume Intervals
    An indoor interval class geared towards reducing average mile pace for 5K to marathon runners. Class is held on the indoor track on Saturdays at 11am with Evan.
  • Take it Outside!
    One of the most unique features of the Sports Center is its location on Manhattan's immensely popular Hudson River Park bikeway/walkway. Club members frequently start or end their workouts outside, enjoying incredible New York City harbor views along their run.
