If running on the treadmill isn't enough, the Sports Center at Manhattan's Chelsea Piers features a 1/4-mile indoor running track and banked 200-meter competition track, with plenty of space to perfect your stride inside. Your membership at the Sports Club means you can stay on track year-round! Work out and train inside on our specially-cushioned Mondo surface — the surface of choice for both the Olympic Games and the World Track & Field Championships.
Our indoor running track provides perfect track trainings for all levels. Run on your own or join a track class — work with a personal trainer, or take up triathlon training. Whatever your interests, we have a program and the space to accommodate your passion for running.
Group Running Class
Get on Track is a drill-oriented track running class that includes sprinting, hurdles, relays, and stretching techniques. Improve running time, speed and endurance and prepare for regional and national open/master's competitions. Get on Track is held on Mondays and Wednesdays 7pm.
Take it Outside! One of the most unique features of the Sports Center is its location on Manhattan's immensely popular Hudson River Park bikeway/walkway. Club members frequently start or end their workouts outside, enjoying incredible New York City harbor views along their run.
