ANSWER

Can I put my membership on hold for travel/medical reasons?

Members may freeze their membership for an administrative fee, once per calendar year for a period no less than 30 consecutive days and no longer than 90 consecutive days. The Sports Center requires a minimum of seven (7) days advance notice for freezes. Weekend memberships may not freeze their membership (only exception is for medical incident at the indiscretion of Member Services). All outstanding balances must be settled before a freeze request can be processed. Any request submitted after the fact will not be considered. Please fax (if you fax, please call to confirm we received it), deliver in person or mail completed and signed Freeze Request Forms to:

The Sports Center at Chelsea Piers
Chelsea Piers - Pier 60
New York, NY 10011
Attn.: Member Services
