Pilates is recognized as one of the safest
and most effective total body exercise programs available. The smooth,
non-jarring motions and an emphasis on proper breathing leaves participants
feeling refreshed rather than exhausted. Workouts focus on carefully
controlled resistance exercises designed to stretch, strengthen and tone
muscles as well as open and release tension in joints.
Pilates sessions are taught on Stott Reformers and are ideally used
in one-on-one or in small group sessions.

Personalized attention allows instructors to tailor workouts to each
individual’s specific needs. The Reformer aids in strengthening
core abdominal and back muscles, and improving posture, balance and
flexibility. All sessions are taught by Pilates Certified Instructors
and are 60 minutes in length.

Pilates Group Classes are designed to take the participants through a
series of progressive exercises on a monthly basis. These basic and
advanced classes are tailored to the groups' current fitness levels
and desired goals.

Mat Classes occur in the studios and focus on developing core stability
and learning the basic principles of Pilates. These classes promote
a no-stress approach to better posture and stronger, leaner muscles.
Stability blocks and resistance rings serve as a primer for Reformer-based
sessions.
There is no fee for Pilates Mat Classes.
