at Chelsea Piers. We are proud to have over 61 highly trained, motivated
and experienced personal trainers on staff at the Sports Center who are
here to help you attain your fitness goals. Whether your interests fall
under personal training, Pilates, sports-specific training or multi-sport
training, we have the right trainer for you:

Sports Center Personal Trainers are nationally certified
by at least one of the top personal training certifications in the
field. Certifications include: NASM, ACSM, ACE, NSCA. Many of our trainers also hold secondary
certifications such as Reebok Core Board, Active Isolated Stretch,
Polar own Zone, Pilates Mat, and Belay. |

Our staff also features an eclectic mix of former NBA and NFL stars,
martial arts competitors, professional dancers, triathletes, marathoners
and Ironmen. |

Personal Trainers constantly learn the most up-to-date research
in the industry through a comprehensive, in-house continuing education
program .
These weekly and monthly courses cover a wide array of topics including
bio-mechanics, functional training, balance and stability work, challenging
core workouts, cardio-fitness routines, muscular strength and endurance
work, weight management, lifestyle coaching, sport-specific training
and many other cutting edge training styles. |
