Dario continues to swim competitively. In 2007, he competed in the Spanish National Championships in the 50 Freestyle and 50 Butterfly. In 2008, he competed in the 50 and 100 Freestyle
and Butterfly at the New York Metropolitan Championships.

Fun Facts

Dario moved to the United States in 2000, lived in Chicago for 4 years and in Washington DC for 2 years before moving back to Madrid. He then spent 2 years in Madrid. Since August 2007, Dario has lived in New York City. As evidenced by his frequent moves, Dario loves traveling and experiencing different cultures.

And, Dario enjoys swimming so much that he once swam in Lake Superior when it was only 50 degrees Fahrenheit!
