We strongly suggest making a reservation to guarantee that your group will be accommodated on the day you visit Chelsea Piers. Booking your event ahead of time will guarantee that your preferred activities are available when you arrive, and your guests will not have to wait in any lines.
The minimum required group size for planning a Special Event is ten (10) guests.
Pricing is determined by the specific activities and event locations reserved as well as the timeframe (season, time of day) of the event. Please call a Chelsea Piers Representative at 212.336.6777 for pricing, or submit an inquiry through our website. Once we have your event details (guest count, event date, event format, activity preference), we will create a customized proposal.
No, there is not an admission fee to Chelsea Piers. Our activities are priced a la carte, so you only pay for what you are going to use. Please contact the Special Events Department for pricing information that is tailored to the interests of your group.
Due to scheduled programming and other private outings that may be taking place simultaneously, it is not possible to change your activities on the day of the event. Pending availability, however, it may be possible to add activities on the day of your event.
Bowlmor Chelsea Piers, the city's ultimate bowling and entertainment experience, can be added as an activity to any of our corporate event packages. Bowling-only outings must be booked directly through Bowlmor Lanes. The facility features 40 state-of-the-art lanes, an upscale bar, menu and catering items. Also available, our private space with its own bar and private lanes. Groups are welcome for both day and evening outings.

Chelsea Piers requires a 50% non-refundable reservation fee in order to officially reserve your activities, locations, and services. Five (5) business days prior to your event date, we require the remaining balance. All payments are required prior to the date of your event at Chelsea Piers. You may pay for your event with either a credit card, check or wire transfer.
Pier Sixty and the Lighthouse are private riverside event spaces, located within the Chelsea Piers campus. Both spaces are a partnership between Chelsea Piers and Abigail Kirsch Fine Catering, and they have a seasoned event team that is separate from the event staff for the sports venues. Chelsea Piers does not offer discounted parking for events. However, we do have several parking lots that guests are welcome to utilize. Please note that all parking is cash-only, and we have several ATMs throughout Chelsea Piers. For parking rates, please visit the parking section of our website.
You can find almost every other sport at Chelsea Piers, but unfortunately we do not have tennis courts.

Chartered buses may drop off at the main Pier 62 entrance or on the East Roadway (which runs along Chelsea Piers, parallel to the West Side Highway) at Pier 61, Pier 60 or Pier 59. Chartered buses may then pick guests up at Pier 62 after the event. Please note that buses may not park at Chelsea Piers during your event. Please make sure the bus company is aware of this, and they will make alternate arrangements.
