The Sports Center's newest fitness studio, the Mind Body Studio, is now open!

The studio's schedule of 35 yoga, barre and Nalini Method classes per week provides the ideal setting for members to enjoy these new classes and enhance their current Sports Center experience. For a limited time, members may upgrade their current membership for only $35 more a month to enjoy unlimited access to all classes. On Monday, July 8, this monthly upgrade fee will increase to $45. Should members choose not to upgrade, classes may be booked at the single session fee of $30.

The Mind Body Studio and reception are located on the East Roadway of Chelsea Piers, just south of the Pier 60 entrance.

Early morning cycling classes have been added to the Group Fitness schedule! Start your day off right with one of these high-energy, calorie-blasting classes. Sessions are held on the following days/times:

Mondays from 7am - 7:45am: Road Trip with Sarah

Tuesdays from 8am - 8:45am: Video Ride with Danny

Wednesdays from 7am - 7:45am: Spintensity with Pamela

Thursdays from 7am - 7:45am: Road Trip with Ben

SurfSET Fitness Classes Now Free for Members!

The revolutionary surfing workout, SurfSET Fitness, is now available to Sports Center Members for free! Classes are offered 6 days a week with morning, afternoon and evening options. These innovative classes utilize the Rip SurferX board to tone legs and arms and work your core.

Non-members may attend for a fee of $35.

NEW Group Fitness Class: SC 60 CLUB!

We're pleased to announce that we will now be offering SC 60 CLUB, a new group fitness class designed to encourage a healthier and more active lifestyle for our mature members. Developed by Sports Center trainer and Exercise Physiologist Sharone Huey, SC 60 CLUB will allow class-goers to participate in a range of fitness activities that will help improve overall health and the ability to tackle daily tasks.

Classes will be held five days a week and will include activities such as walking, cycling, stretching, balancing and more. For more information, call the Fitness Desk at 212.336.6099.
