Game-Time / Instructional Hockey
The Game-Time Hockey program provides the best of both worlds—on-ice training at Sky Rink combined with advanced hockey conditioning training at Top Shelf.
Sky Rink Components
On-ice sessions concentrate on game-play situations, including:
- Team-Focused Drills
- Offensive and Defensive Strategies
- Powerplay and Penalty Kills Situations
- Position Responsibilities in Defensive, Neutral and Offensive Zones
- Shooting, Passing, Stick-Handling and Puck Possession Skills
Top Shelf Components
Speed Training
Short duration/high-intensity sprinting sequences on the Athletic Republic-patented skating treadmill simulate hockey shifts, delivering the most sport-specific conditioning program possible.
Skills
Drills on Top Shelf's synthetic ice Skills Zone focus on stick handling, shooting, off-balance accuracy, soft hands, passing, toe drags, dekes, shooting technique and power, obstacle stick handling, puck control, and goalie skills.
