Parent Information

At CP Kids, we value families as an integral part of the education process and welcome them into the classroom to experience learning in action! Parents or guardians can be involved in many different ways including classroom reading, special projects or chaperoning field trips. We celebrate diversity and embrace families sharing their culture. The goal of CP Kids is to create a positive and welcoming environment for all families!

Daily Communication

Daily Communication

Each day every family receives an email detailing the fun and learning that took place in the classroom that day. It includes pictures, words from the students and classroom updates. It provides parents with information to chat about with their child after school and continue the learning at home!

Classroom Website

Classroom Website

All CP Kids classrooms have their own password-protected website complete with pictures and videos. The website includes a calendar and sends notifications to remind parents of upcoming events. Teachers update the website at least once a week.

School-Wide Concerts

School-Wide Concerts

All of our students perform twice a year during our CP Kids concerts! They prepare songs and dances as well as build sets and create costumes. Families are invited to attend all performances and dinner.

Weekly Newsletter

Weekly Newsletter

Every Friday parents receive an email newsletter from the director of CP Kids. The newsletter includes important school-wide information as well as the snack menu for the coming week.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent Teacher Conferences

Twice a year CP Kids holds parent teacher conferences. This allows parents one-on-one time with their child's teacher to discuss developmental milestones, pre-academic skills and each child as a whole.

Documentation of Learning

Documentation of Learning

Each child has a portfolio of work that is collected and documents their learning. The teachers include work samples, photographs and notes. The portfolios document a year of growth and development and families are able to take home at the end of each school year.
