The CP Kids Preschool Program, for children ages 2.7 - 5, offers a dynamic curriculum that prepares students for kindergarten and life beyond. Our curriculum builds confidence, resilience, problem-solving skills and independence while encouraging curiosity. Our preschool classrooms are led by a certified teacher who works collaboratively with two assistant teachers to create an engaging learning environment. A low student-to-teacher ratio ensures every student is able to receive individual attention and individualized instruction throughout the day.

The preschool curriculum takes a thematic approach to learning while incorporating the common core standards. This allows students to fully immerse themselves in each theme while addressing all areas of development. Children learn through play in a balance of child-directed and teacher-facilitated activities. Time is allotted each day for developing pre-reading and writing skills, exercising creativity, developing mathematical and spatial sense, dramatic play, art, music, self-expression and physical education.

At CP Kids we recognize that kindergarten readiness is key not only for the students, but for parents as well. Our teachers and administrators are well versed in the transition process and work collaboratively with parents to help guide them through the process. CP Kids has former students enrolled in private and public schools all over Manhattan and Brooklyn.
