Teaching Style

My classes explore a variety of poses (asanas) intelligently sequenced to warm up the body and allow deeper expressions to manifest carefully. Practices of sun salutations, inversions and breathing techniques (pranayama) harness yang energy to generate sweat, resulting in a purified bodily experience, and are equally met with seated and restorative poses to cultivate yin energy and soften the body, achieving balance physically, mentally and spiritually. You will become closely acquainted with the breath as you link it with explorative and playful movement, to encourage lightness, increased alertness and tranquility both on and off the mat.
