Full Throttle Youth and Junior Triathlon Team

Age Groups: Youth: 12-15, Junior: 16-19 

The Full Throttle Youth and Junior program at the Chelsea Piers Fitness aims to train young athletes safely and effectively throughout their developmental stages. Our highly skilled and accomplished coaches focus on teaching each athlete proper skills and healthy exercise habits with an emphasis on having fun.

The program specializes in youth triathlon skills and drills, age-appropriate training regimes, physiological considerations, and basic training techniques to develop lifelong habits. The program caters to athletes that are beginners doing their first race or are Youth and Junior Elite athletes interested in ITU draft legal racing.

Schedule FALL 2017 • 12 Weeks (September 19 - December 8)

Athletes are encouraged to participate in the full semester.

  • 3-hour Saturday Clinic once a month that focuses on skills, transitions, gear, speakers, and strength training
