Christopher is an experienced Golf Professional with over a 15 years of experience in the sport of golf and over 16,000 hours taught in New York City.
Hank Haney Associate certified Instructor, K-Vest Certified Instructor, and TPI Certified, and attended the “teaching the teacher” seminar with Hank Haney. Chris is qualified to employ a variety of technologically advanced instructional methods and techniques. Chris aspires to keep his methods as simple as possible when instructing his students, using feel to ensure a proper swing motion and assisting his students to correct their swing challenges. His experience with BodiTrak, K-Vest, and the Flight Scope, among other golf technologies has established Chris as a top golfing instructor.
In addition to having taught golf at a course in Jamaica, Chris was employed by Olde Homestead Golf Club in Pennsylvania for five years and spent three years at Stanton Ridge Golf and Country Club in New Jersey, learning a variety of golfing methods while perfecting his own techniques. Chris graduated with a degree in Business Management, is a published author for the East Penn Press, has made television appearances on CNN, where he analyzed President Obama’s golf swing, was featured on ABC and FOX News, interviewed on Telemundo and Cool in your Code, photographed for Esquire, FHM, Golf Magazine, Mens Health, Bloomberg pursuits, and had his golf lessons written about in African American Golf Magazine and More magazines. In 2009, Chelsea Piers recognized Chris as “Coach of the Year”.

My teaching philosophy is to work with each student in creating an uncomplicated, achievable plan for their golf game. Once this is established, I use various forms of the latest technologies, and a kinesthetic approach to learning. I welcome golfers of all ages, from beginning golfers to advanced ability levels.
