Mini-Olympics

This active program provides a structured way for groups of all sizes to build camaraderie in a relaxed setting. Teams rotate through the activities, while our enthusiastic staff facilitates the games, keeps score and declares a winning team at the end. Ready, set, compete!

Basketball
"Hot Shot" Competition
Each team member has one minute to make as many baskets as possible from three specific spots on the basketball court. One point is awarded for each of the easiest shots made, three points for each of the intermediate shots made and five points for each of the most difficult shots.
Sand Volleyball Two teams play three games on the Indoor Sand Volleyball court. Each game is played up to eleven points or the maximum time limit of fifteen minutes. Additional participants rotate in on each team.
Dodgeball It's the game we used to play in gym class - dip, duck, catch and DODGE! Teams face off one against the other and the team with the last person left in the game at the end wins.
Relay Race Each team must make their way through a series of activities in relay fashion. Activities may include jump rope, hula hoop, making a basketball shot and jumping jacks.
Tug-O-War Set your feet and pull with all of your might in our sand volleyball court. The first team to pull the other across the line wins the points.
Pass, Catch and End Zone Dance Each team selects a player to be the quarterback who passes the football to teammate receivers. Each QB has 60 seconds to pass the ball into four different zones for varying point values. It will take the entire team’s effort to return the football (by way of a lateral pass via the “receivers”) back to the QB. The object of this game is for the whole team to work together, throw long and score!
Rock Climbing Relay Race Each member of the team that is willing to climb will scale our Rock Wall in this vertical relay race. The team with the fastest time wins.
Dodgeball It’s the game we used to play in gym class - dip, duck, catch and DODGE! Teams face off and the team with at least one person left in the game at the end wins.
Pedestal Jousting Pedestal jousting is the ultimate test of a gladiator’s strength and skill. Armed with extra-long foam-padded joust poles, participants have the opportunity to duke it out against the opponent of their choice. The first to knock his/her opponent off the pedestal is declared the winner.
Sling Shot Baseball Using a slingshot ball launcher, three team members must launch small dodgeballs across the courts to the catching team. The catching team needs to catch each ball in a special parachute, on the fly, without dropping the ball. This action-packed game takes precision and teamwork to succeed.
Speed Stacks™ Competition Cups It’s a track meet for your hands at warp speed! Speed stacking is an exciting new sport where you “up stack” and “down stack” 12 specially designed cups in predetermined sequences as fast as you can. Sport stacking encourages everyone to succeed while challenging even the most athletic players. Each team member gets three attempts. We record their best score and add up the total team times for a winner.
Tower Power Tower Power is similar to the popular game Jenga™, but super-sized! The group is organized into teams and each member of each team takes a turn removing one block from the tower and placing it on the top of the tower. Everyone participates and there are specific rules and challenges introduced along the way. The game ends when the tower falls.
Charades and Pictionary Traditional games we all know and love. The first person from each team comes to the facilitator for the first word challenge. The first person then returns to the team and acts or draws it out until their team guesses the word. The next person then goes for the next word and so on. The first team to guess the most words wins!
Cornhole Our take on the classic lawn game, brought indoors for year-round enjoyment. Players throw bean bags onto a board to win points for their team.
