Levels: LTS USA Free Skate 1 through Free Skate 6 or USFS Levels No-Test through Juvenile
Champions Camp is geared toward figure skaters who work with a private lesson coach and who want a weekly intensive training program. Campers’ test levels should fall within LTS USA levels Free Skate 1 through Free Skate 6 or USFS Levels No-Test through Juvenile. Camp includes daily on-ice and off-ice group classes taught by Sky Rink’s professional staff. There are also freestyle session times during which campers can schedule lessons with their private coach.

Staff
The Champions Camp counselors are typically college-age and are current/former figure skaters who want to share their love of figure skating with the next generation of skaters!
The group classes are taught by Sky Rink’s professional staff, which includes former national, world, and Olympic competitors.

Registration
Skaters register by the week. Additionally, all campers must submit a completed Medical Release Form, which can be printed by clicking on the link. All campers must be dropped off and picked up by a parent or guardian. Campers must pass the temperature check to attend camp.
All registrants, must complete the Medical Form and email it to skatingschool@chelseapiers.com prior to your first day of camp.
What To Expect During Camp
Everyone is required to wear a protective face covering at all times at Chelsea Piers when not on the ice, including during check-in and check-out. Please ensure your athlete arrives at Chelsea Piers with a mask.
All groups on and off the ice will be limited to 10:1 ratios to ensure proper and safe distancing practices.
Athletes must arrive no earlier than 20 minutes before camp is scheduled to start.
Athletes must exit the facility no later than 15 minutes after the conclusion of their camp.
All youth skaters must arrive at the rink fully dressed (excluding helmets, gloves, and skates).
We suggest you bring a water bottle from home as water fountains will be available for bottle filling only. Per New York State guidelines, water bottles cannot be shared.
Campers must also pack their own nut-free lunch. Vending machines will not be available.
Skaters should wear masks both on and off the ice.
