Kim Rich is the Director of Gymnastics at Chelsea Piers.
This summer will mark her 15th year at Chelsea Piers. Her favorite part of camp is when the whole gymnastics camp comes together to compete and share the skills they have learned throughout the week. Kim believes with proper skill progression, gymnastics is a sport that has benefits for everyone regardless of age or level.
Renee Redder is the Director of Preschool and Junior Gymnastics Camps as well as the Assistant Director of Gymnastics throughout the academic year.
Renée was a competitive gymnast herself and has been involved in gymnastics for over 20 years. As a coach, her goal is to create a fun and enjoyable experience for each individual student, making sure each student is comfortable at camp and making the most out of each lesson!
John Dwinell is the Director of Sports Academy Camp.
This is John's 15th Summer at Chelsea Piers. During the school year, John works at the Ethical Culture Fieldston School as the head of Physical Education. During camp, he loves to see campers put their skills to use during the competitions at the end of each week.
Josh Diorio serves as the director of the Gymnastics Summer Camp as well as the Assistant Director of Gymnastics throughout the academic year.
Josh has been involved in gymnastics for over 20 years as an athlete, coach and super-mega fan! During the school year, Josh serves as the assistant director of gymnastics and oversees all recreational gymnastics classes.
Ron Restrepo is the Co-Director of the Sports Academy Camp and Director of Elite Soccer.
This will be his 15th summer being a part of Chelsea Piers. Throughout the year, Ron leads the soccer programs at Chelsea Piers including our competitive teams and leagues. His coaching goal is to guide players by showing them multiple options in their game and allowing them to make choices that would showcase success and a love for the game.
Jessica Huot is the Skating School Director atSky Rink and the Director of all skating camps.
She is a six-time Finnish National Ice Dance Champion and USFS quadruple gold medalist. Jessica’s true talent is her ability to bring her love of the sport to any skill level, making all campers feel comfortable on the ice.
Keith Knight is the Youth Hockey Director and Director of all ice hockey camps.
He has coached top teams since 1985, including the Cyclones, and has played for various ACHL and IHL hockey teams. Keith is dedicated to improving each player’s skills through hands-on coaching.
Dan O’Brien is the Lead Hockey Instructor for Junior, Full-Day and Acceleration Ice Hockey Summer Camps.
Coach Dan O’Brien has been a professional hockey coach since 1998. He coached the “AAA” PeeWee National Champions in 2001 and coached four USA National Championship Finals. Coach Dan is dedicated to providing a fun, safe and educational environment for players of all levels.
Chance Scheffing is the Lead Instructor of Performance Golf Camp.
Chance is a Class A PGA Member Certified in Teaching and Coaching, a First Tee Certified Assistant Coach and a U.S. Kids Top 50 Certified Instructor. In 2017, he was Chelsea Piers Coach of the Year.
Tim Townsend is the Lead Instructor of Golf Camp.
Tim has been a Class A PGA member since 1995 and has worked with four "Top 100 Teachers." He was named Chelsea Piers PGA Teacher of the Year in 2004 and 2005 and Coach of the Year in 2011 and 2015.
Devon Anderson is the Director of Basketball Camp as well as Urban Adventure Camp.
His favorite part of camp is the off-site trips! He has been involved in Summer Camp programs for over 10 years.
Craig Woodcock has been the Summer Camp Director for 13 summers and a part of the Chelsea Piers family for 17 years.
Craig is a former competitive hockey player and coaches year-round at Sky Rink. Craig is dedicated to providing the best summer camp experience for campers and their families.
Selina Droz has been the Assistant Camp Director for the past 12 summers and has also been a long-time employee of Chelsea Piers.
Selina is also the Director of Transportation; she constantly strives to improve summer camp programs and provide the best possible service for campers and their families.
