At Chelsea Piers, our adult swim classes are tailored to provide you with essential skills for lifelong enjoyment and safety in the water. Our professional coaches offer expert instruction, guiding you from water safety fundamentals to learn-to-swim techniques and refining the four competitive strokes.
Our Learn to Swim program is designed to allow adults with little or no swimming experience to foster primary water skills in a comfortable and supportive setting. In our Olympic-style pool on our movable floor, you'll learn water safety techniques and basic forward movements, all under the guidance of our experienced staff.
These group lessons are shaped for those who can comfortably swim one lap non-stop and want to boost endurance and build stroke technique. In this class, you'll focus on improving stroke efficiency while building your endurance to swim multiple laps. You will also have the opportunity to be introduced to advanced strokes like breaststroke and backstroke.
Dive into the water with confidence as you receive one-on-one attention tailored to your skill level and goals. These seasonal private lessons for adult swimmers take place in our Olympic pool and are available on a first-come, first-serve enrollment basis. Online enrollment available.
You need a bathing suit and towel.
