Le Tour de Piers 2026
Rep your club and join us for Le Tour de Piers, a Breakaway Cycling Challenge where our five fitness clubs in Chelsea, Downtown Brooklyn, Prospect Heights, Flatiron and Stamford will compete to reach the greatest average distance traveled during class over a two week period.
All you have to do is show up to as many Breakaway Cycling classes as you can from Monday, July 13 – Monday, July 27 to build up mileage and represent your club! Our instructors will submit the scores at the end of each week.
At the end of the challenge, the club that travels the greatest average distance will take home the Le Tour de Piers Trophy and win an exclusive celebratory party on August 1!
How to participate
- No registration required, all active CPF members are eligible
- Register + show up to any Breakaway Cycling class at your home club from July 13–27
- Your miles count automatically, and all instructors will log the mileage after each class
- More classes = more miles = better standing for your club
Prizes
- Winning club with the greatest average miles at the end of July 27 wins Le Tour de Piers Trophy + an exclusive in-club celebratory party on August 1
- Top 3 members with the most classes attended over the 2 week period at each club wins an exclusive MALIN+GOETZ gift package worth over $100

Do I need to sign up?
No, any active CPF member who rides during the challenge window is automatically included.
Which classes count?
All Breakaway Cycling classes at any of the five participating clubs from July 13–27.
How is the winner decided?
The club with the highest average miles per class wins. This keeps it fair across clubs with different class schedules.
When will we know the winner?
Results will be announced the week of July 27, along with details for the celebratory party.
