Coaching Philosophy

My coaching philosophy is simple: I love to teach. Coaching comes naturally to me. I’ve always enjoyed doing so. One of my favorite things about coaching/teaching is the happy expressions students have when they accomplish a new skill or different level tasks.

Competitive Background

Over the years, I’ve competed in the World Taekwondo, formerly known as the World Taekwondo Federation. This sport has three types of competitions.

Kyorugi
Poomsae
Kyukpa

I had the opportunity to compete in local tournaments and qualify for national and state championships.

Most Memorable Sports Moment

I would have to say the 2012 Olympics. This was my most memorable moment yet. Watching the men's and women’s gymnastics in the O2 Arena was an awesome experience. To see all the top qualifiers represent their country was phenomenal.
