USA Volleyball Coach of Juniors
My coaching philosophy would be to help create a positive, comfortable environment for athletes to learn, have fun, and build long-lasting relationships with their teammates both on and off the court. I like to encourage athletes to try new things, take risks, and learn from their mistakes, and I believe it's easier to do so if they're in a positive environment full of supportive teammates, coaches, and parents. That's why I also encourage my athletes to stay loud, be supportive, and respectful to each other. If one athlete goes down, we all help them get back up because no one is to be left behind. We work as a team and treat each other like family. I tell my athletes to never doubt themselves, because doubt is what prevents that first step from being taken.

When I was still playing for my high school team, we went against one of the top schools in the state, and I remember getting a dig from one of the opposing team's best hitter during an intense rally and my team goes crazy and crowds gasping, and when we won the rally me and my team were all celebrating and cheering like never before. This moment sparked within me the most because it made me realize that anyone can be a hero of the match.
