Coaching Philosophy

I believe in building a repeatable swing through strong fundamentals, understanding of the motions and skills learned, and the development of those skills that translate to the course. My goal is to create a fun, welcoming environment where golfers feel comfortable learning, experimenting, and improving while enjoying the process.

Coaching Experience

Over 8 years of teaching experience and development with all ages and stages of ability at clubs like Knollwood Club in Lake Forest, Illinois, FireRock Country Club in Fountain Hills, Arizona, and Silverleaf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Most memorable sports experience

Getting to play The Old Course at St. Andrews with my dad some years ago and getting to walk that course with him, who first put a club in my hand, is without a doubt the best walk I’ve ever had in my life. Throw in that it was some of the best golf I’d ever played in my life and some very good golf by him, it’s a moment I’ll never forget.
