We focus on small group learning and each individual child. Daily activities include story time, sensory experiences, art exploration, gross motor time, fine motor activities, social emotional learning and dramatic play.

Preschool Program

Children learn through play in a balance of child-directed and teacher-facilitated activities. Daily activities include pre-reading and writing skills, art projects, dramatic play, sensory activities, self-expression, and physical education.

Activities

CP Kids offers a robust curriculum that has a variety of special activities built into each day. These activities take advantage of all that the Field House has to offer and give the kids access to gross motor time year-round.

Yoga and Mindfulness

Students learn techniques to help identify emotions to build self-regulation skills. Students can reset, practice breathing techniques and increase focus in the classroom and at home.

Music

Four days a week, students learn how to keep a steady beat, sing in tune and fall in love with music with our talented music teacher. Preschoolers can also opt into small group lessons to learn different instruments.

Sports

CP Kids classes include soccer or gymnastics with a Chelsea Piers coach, additionally CP Kids have daily gross motor time with their teachers on the fields, courts, Fit4Tots, and Toddler Gym—rain or shine.

Cooking

To encourage healthy eating, the children play an active role in creating and preparing what they eat for snack. Cooking allows children the opportunity to utilize fine motor skills and math concepts in a different context.
