Our Policies
Refunds
- There is a non-refundable reservation fee of $100 included in the cost of all youth classes at the Field House. Refunds, not including the reservation fee, will be granted up to two weeks after each Trimester begins. All requests must be emailed to info-bk@chelseapiers.com (mailto:info-bk@chelseapiers.com).
- Refunds are not available for cancellations made after the second week of the Trimester.
- Refunds are not available for absences, transportation delays, inclement weather, withdrawals, dismissals, strike/work stoppage, natural disasters, Covid-19, or reasons beyond the control of Chelsea Piers, that disrupt or force the cancellation of class.

Transfer requests
- Class fees are not transferable to another student.
- Students may transfer from one class to another during the program season if there is availability. Additional class fees may apply if there is a price differential between classes.

Cancellation
- Chelsea Piers Field House Brooklyn reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient registration, prior to, or following, the first class of the program season. Appropriate refunds will be granted.
- If for any reason a single class/program is cancelled, delayed, or interrupted, we will provide CREDIT only.

Make-ups
- Though we will do our best to provide a maximum of one make up class per program Trimester, we cannot guarantee a make-up class will be scheduled. All make ups must take place on our pre-determined “Make Up Days”. We are unable to accommodate ad hoc makeups.
- We will begin scheduling class make ups after the first two weeks of the Trimester. Make ups can only be scheduled after the missed class. You may not pro-actively schedule make ups. All make ups are scheduled on a first-come first-served basis.
- Make ups must be scheduled at least 24-hours prior to the make up class. Scheduled make ups may not be canceled. Failure to show up to a scheduled make up will result in forfeiting your allotted make up. Make ups may not be transferred.
- Swim make ups must both be scheduled and take place within two weeks of missed class.
Summer Classes: Make Ups are not available for summer class programming.

Waitlist
- Prior to the commencement of the Season:
- You will be contacted via email if space opens up in a desired class.
- After the Program Season has begun:
- You will be contacted via email and/or phone if a space opens up in the desired class. You will have 2 hours to respond. If there is no response, we will offer the spot to the next person on the waiting list.\

Summer Classes
There is a non-refundable reservation fee of $55 included in the cost of all youth classes at the Field House. Refunds, excluding this fee, will be given if requested up to 7 days before the session's start date. All requests must be emailed to info-bk@chelseapiers.com.
No refunds or credit will be issued for cancellations made after the 7-day period before the session start date.
Refunds are not available for absences, transportation delays, inclement weather, withdrawals, dismissals, strike/work stoppage, natural disasters, Covid-19, or reasons beyond the control of Chelsea Piers, that disrupt or force the cancellation of class.
Make Ups are not available for summer class programming.

Trial Classes
Trial Classes are currently not offered.

Self Check-Out & Drop-Off
Children under the age of 11 are not permitted to self drop-off or check-out. If your child is old enough and you would like them to self drop-off or check-out, please add them to the list of authorized pick-ups on your account (https://apps.daysmartrecreation.com/dash/x/#/online/chelsea/profile) by logging into your account and updating your preferences.
