Last level of Basic Skills, this is for skaters who have achieved all skills from Levels 1-5.

This Skating School class teaches skaters forward inside three-turns, moving backward to forward, backward stroking, one-foot spins, T-stops, bunny hops and forward spirals on the skaters dominant foot. Upon completing Basic 6, skaters are prepared to join our specialized Aspire program.

Hockey Skating Skills is a class to teach hockey players the fundamentals of skating with a hockey stick. Players focus on edge work, balance, agility, coordination, stride, and more. 

 The Hockey Skating Skills curriculum is designed to teach the fundamentals of hockey skating and prepares them to join the Cyclones Developement Program. In four badge levels, skaters will learn how to be more proficient and agile on the ice. Proper skating techniques for the game of hockey are the primary focus of each of the levels. All elements are taught without a puck. Skaters learn the basic hockey stance, stride, knee bend, use of edges, and other necessary fundamentals to be successful in hockey practices and game situations. Hockey skates, helmets with cage, and hockey gloves are required.

Rental skates are included with the class tuition if needed.
