About our Summer Camps

Junior Ice Hockey
Ages 3-5
This unique intro to hockey gives young players a head start in learning the fundamentals. Campers receive 45 minutes of daily skating lessons and general hockey instruction, learning through fun drills and games. Players build on the fundamentals of the game and learn balance, stick handling, shooting, passing and more throughout the camp weeks. Campers also participate in off-ice training and activities. Skaters are on the ice for 80 minutes and participate in preschool related activities, including, storytime, arts and crafts, bouncy house, puppet show and gymnastics. Campers pack their own lunch. Snack is provided.
Camp runs 8:45am - 2:00pm.
Extended Day Camp runs 8:30am - 3:15pm.

Junior Ice Skating
Ages 4-5
The Snowplow Sam levels are introductory classes divided into four progressive levels allowing children with no prior skating experience to build confidence while learning the basic skills of skating. These classes are designed to help children six and younger develop the ABCs of movement: agility, balance, coordination, and speed. The ABCs are essential for developing fundamental movement skills and physical literacy. All classes will be taught in a safe and positive environment, incorporating fun and games, making class time an enjoyable experience for all. Skaters are on the ice for an hour lesson and participate in preschool related activities, including, storytime, arts and crafts, bouncy house, puppet show and gymnastics. Campers pack their own lunch - snack is provided.
Camp runs 8:30am - 2:00pm.
Extended Day Camp runs 8:30am - 3:15pm.

Ages 3-4
Get ready for a frosty adventure at our Junior Ice Skating Camp! Our little skaters ages 3 and 4. Convenient Options

$45/day or $185/week
Chelsea Piers offers a daily Aftercare Program at the Field House from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. Aftercare activities include board games and videos. Parents may register for one day or up to five days per week.

$200/week
We partner with Selby Transportation to provide full-day campers with bus service to and from Chelsea Piers. Licensed school buses pick up and drop off campers at a wide variety of convenient locations in Manhattan and parts of Brooklyn.
Frequently Asked Questions
Camp days are full of sports, making friends and fun! Schedules can vary by camp and slightly by day, but a typical camp day always include age-appropriate rotations on sports and recreational activities. Full Day Campers receive daily hot lunch.
